HELP FIGHT SPAM AND EMAIL COUNTERFEITING ON THE INTERNET

If you are visiting our web site because you received spam that looks like it comes from our email address, please note:

We do not send unsolicited emails across the internet. We are a web site devoted to the life story and teachings of Shri Bhagawan Nityananda. We do not sell pharmaceutical products of any kind, nor are we involved in promoting weight loss programs or any other programs, products or organizations.

Someone has been maliciously using our email address to send spam across the internet. This issue has been under investigation by the Federal Trade Commission's spam unit for the past year. We have also reported this to the FBI's email fraud unit.

Please Help Fight Spam and Email Counterfeiting On The Internet.

Hackers have become very sophisticated. They gather email addresses by using robots to scan every web site on the internet. They then use and sell these email addresses to other hackers. They are now able to cache the servers of many popular ISPs and may even have your email address. These hackers then use email addresses belonging to other people and organizations as "ghost emails" in order to send spam across the internet.

What To Do If You Believe You Have Received Spam From Us.

If you believe you have received spam from us because you have received an email with "@bhagawannityananda.org" in the "From" field, viewing the source code in the email may tell you where the email originated from or what server the hackers bounced the email off of.

How To Report Email Counterfeiting

If you have received this kind of counterfeit email, immediately report it to your ISP. Email them a copy of the email as an attachment (this is important because they need to read the original header of the email). Let them know that you have read this notice. In addition, send an email to spam@uce.gov with the counterfeit email as an attachment, requesting that they investigate and take action and also tell them that you have read this notice.
