Lalita Maulia

Among Bhagawan Nityananda’s disciples, there was another person who synthesized the two paths of Bhakt and Karma Yoga into one, becoming another living example of Gurukripa Yoga. She was Lalita Mauli of Panvel, New Mumbai. Lalita Mauli considered herself to be Bhagawan Nityananda's adopted daughter (Manaskanya). Her life was a perfect example of how one can fulfill his/her householder and worldly life while also walking the spiritual path. During her lifetime, Lalita Mauli fulfilled all her family obligations and yet made her spiritual journey a success.

Lalita Mauli received Shaktipat from Bhagawan Nityananda after being poisoned by a local villager.
Bhagawan Nityananda let her know that all his divine energy had been poured into her by instructing her, "All the Shakti is now in you. You must stay at Panvel fearlessly. You should bind yourself by Brahman. When you have a Sadguru as your savior, nobody can harm you." Lalita was thus transformed into Lalita Mauli, affectionately known as The Mother.
